Salt Fish and Bake, I still have more time on my hands, so I will respond to you. You shouldn’t recommend that Guyanese move to the states, because U.S. immigration will be cracking down on illegal aliens shortly. Like Bajans, they don’t give people time to pack. Guyanese could do without Barbados only if they were willing to use the skills and the strong work ethic that they always boast they have in Guyana. I don’t understand why Guyanese have such a hard time understanding that they must develop Guyana if they want to stop fleeing to other lands. If Bajans could look at Barbados, a little piece of rock as you call it, which has no natural resources and figure out ways to make money from sunshine, surely Guyanese can figure out ways to make money from all of the natural resources in Guyana.

Bake and Saltfish…you are encouraging Guyanese not to go to the “Small Islands” and seek fortunes but to do so in the USA instead. Do you know that in order to go to the USA you need a VISA. Do you know how many Guyanese get VISA’s. THE US Embassy knows that you people will not return so they don’t risk giving too many Guyanes Visas so get off your high horses and thank God that you were able to get a VISA. You all got so many resources and so much mouth use both to better yourselves.

now let me just clear something up.I have been living in trinidad for the past ten years.guyanese in trinidad are not loved because of their behaviour.there is a particular street in port-of-spain where a lot of them sells,pass there and you would be ashame of them and even denounce yourself from being a guynese.It is very terrible the way they behave.and lastly the immigration is always soft with them.if it was just one of them,that person would have been given a chance to stay and advised to relocate to another area,believe me. those of them that were sent back were the innocent paying for the guilty.

Yes Soldier, it may have started with Burnham but it certainly continued under the PPP and in larger numbers too. I am not about laying blame on any one party. I lay blame on us the Guyanese people. Well, while everyone was fighting on this blog, I was having a god damn time.
My wife left for a three week vacation in the USA yesterday and I decided to see if the GT song by the group MADD was correct.
All I could say is ….Oh God!
