The badly decomposed body of a 10-year-old boy suspected to have been murdered was brought to the city yesterday. A man is said to be in police custody assisting with investigations.
Dead is Markinson Felix. This newspaper could not confirm from which interior location the body was brought from. According to sources, the body was found in a shallow grave. It was badly decomposed and “not like a body”, it had to be scooped up, a source said. Detectives from the city went to the interior location yesterday to conduct investigations. A man was reported to have been taken into custody but he could not be brought to the city yesterday because the plane was full.
He is expected to be brought to Georgetown today. Police investigations are continuing.
With a lack of resources and funds we’ll never know was the real cause of death of the youngster unless someone confesses. At least now he can get a dignified burial.

this and other related crimes should send a message to the authorities that it is time we start to build these roads in the interior.

The way life is in guyana has supported the theory of evolution .
We have evolve from the animalistic state ,to cave men stage , then to Human features but now evolution is taking a reverse back to the animalistic stage . We live like animals , no respect for anyone , we kill each other for food & personal property , then kill our mates & young ones . So Darwin was right , deep down we’re a bunch of animals .
