A 22-year old man was yesterday afternoon rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, after being stabbed repeatedly about his body by another man.

The injured man is Carlton Westford who resides at West La Penitence.
Westford was reportedly stabbed by a man who had allegedly robbed him a few weeks ago. According to reports, Westford was walking along Ebenezer Drive (Front Road) when he recognized the man as the person who had robbed him recently.

Westford reportedly confronted the man, who in turn allegedly broke a bottle and stabbed Westford repeatedly about his body. The suspect then escaped.

The injured man was rushed to the hospital. According to hospital sources, Westford was stabbed on his right shoulder, below his left ear, in his abdomen and to his left arm.
Police are investigating the matter.
