LoL…i like dat…one.its like ur mother or father putting u out of the house and letting a total stranger in to eat live and sleep.but u knw wath bck in the days wen guyana was in its prime every one of them caricom nationals use to run and come to guyana with out a problem.but nw sence them other get a little souce pon dem plate we not good to come in dem country.do u remimber the time.60,70,80,?guyana was not alway like this at lease we had jobs and every body had respect for we in the carebean nw look dem na even want to come to dem shores.a tell ya these are d most sades day guyana has ever seen hope it gets better thoe.

Do you think that will change his mind? Guyanese in Barbados have to learn to keep their mouths shut. During the BLP administration Guyanese were all over Bridgetown an on jobs cursing Bajans. during the election campaign Guyanese were cursing David Thompson and the DLP. Guyanese think they have RIGHT to come into Barbados illegally without any consequences.

chief if you are correct with the statement of barbados fitting into guyana over 82000 times then you would understand the problem Barbados is facing with both the legal and the illegal. we jus cant hold them so you must also agree that since the statement is made by you that the best thing to do is to have the undocument to leave bacause the country land mass simply cannot hold the amount of persons heading into that direction.

why cant you ask then to go to st. vincent or st. lucia. dont you think that would help. at least we would deffinitely be seeing the free movement of the people

i am waiting for the day when true and honest reporting wiill be embraced. every one is on about this deportation of the illegal. and in reading Barbados was regareded as a dot. why is it when the U.S.A or any industrialzed nation decide to deport must is not made of it? Is it the fact that barbados is such a dot but is prosperous at that, that we have fallen to the wrath of other countries in caricom.
do we understand the meaning of the work illegal?
As i see it none of these countries leaders that are voicing their opinions with out hard core facts dont understand the problem that barbados is facing, simply because because they dont have the problem of illegal migration

I find it a sad state of affair when we can all come down to all the petty attitude simply because a prime minister in his capacity to regulate and bring a sense of order would be treated with such disdain. I ask the question what is wrong with getting the illegal out? what is wrong with asking all the undocumented to be documented?
with all this talk i want to ask with the free movement of professionals how many countries of the 15 member states actually had persons moving into their countries and how many persons moved there? how many of these countries are pushing for the full integration of caricom?
last and not least i want all to imagine the size of barbados and realise that we cannot hold all the legal from other states and definitely cannot hold the illegal and with al the talk just bring the proof of all that was deported and bring and end to this.
can we recall in the not too distant past we were told about the guyanese that were saying they were mistreated at he hands of the immigration officials? what was the result? we are still awaiting

Richard Wong, I see you picked up some tails here. Funny! Let me make them even more miserable than you have made them. I enjoy little puppies yapping at my ankles.

My friends and I pick a country in the Caribbean every year where we meet from around the world and hang, a tradition we have set up since 1994. (and yes, we went to Guyana last year and in 2004 had a great trip) This year it is Trinidad and next year it would be Barbados. Correction now, next year has been changed to St. Lucia.

Barbados will be scratched off of the list of countries. I am going to try my best to get the word out over here to my American friends who vacations in the Caribbean. My liberal friends would be very “concerned” the next house party we have and I bring it up as an item of “concern” on the agenda.

I don’t object to Thompson doing what he has to do, I just object to the way they are doing this.

Agree, Jackbull. The raids are inhumane and uncivilised. There were a million other ways for Barbadians to confront this issue and enforce their laws, that they chose this lowlife draconian mentality speaks volumes for the “bad-mindedness” of this small nation.

Let’s hope when Guyana gets its act together again, that it demonstrate to Barbadians, the true spirit of Caribbean integration.

PRESIDENT JAGDEO caused the Guyanese to ‘run’ to Barbados? Do you know of situations where he fetched Guyanese to the airport and forced them on planes to Barbados? Then who made the close to 1 million Guyanese run to the U.S.A., Canada, The U.K and all over the world? Your Guys, right?

I told you all before to take Thompson and fetch him on your backs from one end of the country to the other. Who the hell cares is he is a lawyer or a Q.C? It is for you all to be behind him and no one else; the few.

This “man” did not know of raids, he knows not of raids on Guyanese. Suddenly, he knows of 4 Guyanese being deported. Why the drama? Get them all deported. Then PRESIDENT Jagdeo must be in more touch with his Nation than this Thompson PERSON.; the very man for whom so much grudge is being vented on Guyanese. Three issues here: “Indian” Government in Guyana. President Jagdeo’s and every other succeeding president’s retirement and “Indians’ taking over Barbados. The mind cannot get smaller. When they wanted the Guyanese to use them, they took them in with open arms. President Jagdeo was out of the picture at that point. Suddenly, when the mess came about, it is ALL President Jagdeo’s fault and his problem? How convenient?

This fella got some nerve to be going to Guyana. It is just too unfortunate that I cannot make it to Guyana by Thursday but I do hope that the Guyanese at home give this man the appropriate reception and send off. It is past time that the Guyanese people give him and his mouth pieces in Barbados some authentic Guyanese treatment.

Uncle Thom seems to be fine-tuning his rhetoric before his Guyana visit.
Uncle Thom is fully aware of whom he was threatening during the elections and how he became prime minister, on a nationalist/anti-Guyanese agenda, due to the deep-seated hatred of Guyanese by his constituency, because of their industrious approach to life, especially when abroad.
How then does he expect his immigration personnel to execute their duties professionally? And would they be identifying themselves to their victims when partaking in their atrocities.
But your wishes will soon come thru, then I will like to know whom you will underpay to work like slaves, you know how your boys sweet skin, unreliable and like woman/tourist mind them.
Also who will rent all them foul coop you have there; for big, big money.
Uncle Thom is not what you did; Illegal Guyanese are deported for various reasons throughout the world, but is how you did it.
The damage has already been done….…….we all have seen your true colors.
Soon Jaggy and his crew will either manage Guyana properly, be replaced or start leaning to South American, then you and Caricom will realize your errors.
