I grew up lisening to auntie pat on radio saw her a few times by radio demerara always heard good things about her , she is home now rest well auntie .

85 is a long life to live, so thank God for His grace and mercy. Guyana has lost a line of long serving radio broadcasters who paved the way: Bertie Chancellor (Chancellors’ Pop), Matthew Allen (Good Morning Guyana Show), Pancho Carew (Best By Request), Bruiser Thomas (Sports Editor, sportscaster and sidekick sports commentator), Cecil Griffith (News Editor-in-Chief), though not in that order, and now Aunty Pat. It would seem they all left such an indelible impression on radio listeners, they belong to the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in our minds.
