These conferences are exercises to lend legitimacy to the developed world's strangulation of the developing world. The developed world can only maintain their status if they remain developed and others never attain that status. This belief that the developed world wants the poorer countries to develop is a myth. I cannot remain rich if everybody and has the same wealth as I do. Don't believe the hype. The small and vulnerable states will always be marginalised at these talk fests.
