Georgie, like you, I believe this is an overblown story, not taking anything away from the kids. There is always this talk about the how good a 10year old is at an examination. We all know that some people are late developers and maybe the smartest and most productive adult coming out of this grade six class is not even mentioned here. This exam proves nothing. Every child up to 18 years should be exposed to the same quality of education. Learning is a process and should be treated that way. Stopping this examination will go a long in showing the authorities recognize this
