Plans are underway for a grand reunion of Queen’s College alumni in the last week of October.

According to a press release QC old students last got together in Guyana in 1994 to celebrate the school’s 150th anniversary. “The school will be 165 years this year but the reunion is largely the result of the desire of students who attended the college in the 1950’s and 1960’s to meet one last time,” the release said. In keeping with this the reunion will be celebrated under the theme “Home is where the heart is.”

The feature event will be a grand assembly hosted in the new auditorium on October 28. It is hoped that Dr Robert Moore, a favourite History teacher in the 50s and 60s will be the main speaker.
