What you want the newspaper to report? Furthermore what do you want the bloggers to post comments on? I scan this paper everday and it seems as if only a certain type of story is being read. By the final count all the other serious articles scarely recieve a second glance. Print what the people want to read and what they understand.

How the hell he got a working visa without bieng a skilled person? Maybe that is why Jagdeo proposed skilled domestic workerts to the caricom leaders,after all America is giving work permits to “skilled labourers”.The backtrack buisiness on the America/Canada border seems to be thriving.If and when this guy is deported he should be put on the Guyana bench at CJIA and thoroughly investigated.

Karl,they got poor banna reporter on line to police headquarters and scanning internet with words “Guyana -crime” all day to get these stories for National Inquirer types and make it look like papers selling. So no time to do proper stories about the ongoing development and progress in Guyana..Mayhem, disrorder, crime, “Guyanese fleeing”, dem stories like that to “blame the government” ..

If Americans had escorted him to the airport and forced him onto a plane when his work visa expired, the way Bajans would have, he wouldn’t have been able to enter Canada. If the Canadians had escorted him to the airport and forced him onto a plane when his application for refugee status was dismissed, the way Bajans would have, he wouldn’t have been able to cause bodily harm and trauma to that Canadian woman and more work for Canadian and U.S. law enforcement. Do you Guyanese see what happens when people give Guyanese illegal aliens time to get their things in order and leave countries on their own? Do you see what happens when you try to be “humane,” as you call it, to Guyanese illegal immigrants? Bajans are the only ones who seem to understand that you must take a hard line and work expeditiously when dealing with Guyanese illegal aliens. Sigh
