You should get your facts straight before making comments that you don’t know about. The business transaction that the owner made was legal and is clean money. I know this people and I know what they did to accomplish what they had. They pay they taxes and owe no one. I think the only thing you do is sit and make comments. They are more to this robbery than sit here and make comments about money. You should advise the law of that country one what you think and how transaction should be conduct.

They were calling the phones at the police station and they were not picking up. The owner had to drove to the police station and literally force him self in. There are more suspects out there and the police aren’t doing anything much.

Criminals in fact are outnumbering the law enforcing authorities.Lawlessness.Citizens, knowing this, especially business people,who cannot depend on the police all the time,will have to take all precautions to defend themselves against these roving bandits.However, there seems to be a problem in Guyana when it comes to preparing to confront bandits, and setting traps to catch these cowards.If everyone in Guyana takes these steps,always to be more alert,and set traps for these thugs, many bandits will be neutralized.

Until you step into these people shoes then you can be able to judge, what if the people took out their money out of the bank on friday for some investment or personal reason over the weekend and coincidently lets just say maybe that’s when they got robbed. Even when you go to the bank the robbers follow your every move and then rob you. Speaking of personal experience. especiall when you are in business people does watch your every move. So don’t be so quick to judge, i do agree with most of your views but bad things do happen to good people. ( i don’t know the victims)

Nah reddy don’t worry we wont blame jagdeo and his cronies, they dont do anything wrong and god knows how hard he is working out of the country every week at leonora reunion and gossai memorials every weekend to help get this country out of the economic abyss we have been in the past 17 years.

Crime is down, No more blackout, employment is at an all time high, new businesses are being created every week, water is flowing out of the taps without any rust at anytime of the day.

It doesn’t matter if they have large sum of money in the house or not . I can’t believe the man is careless enough to yak about how much money he has in his house , after being robbed before .

Bandits see a business and they know money is there , they then wait for an oppertunity and attack , very simple.

There is however a type of card which can be topped up with cash at a bank and the cardholder uses the card to make purchases until the top-up funds are use up.
This is a pre-pay facility and is available even to the poorest in the population.

Here you go crime has nothing to with your party affiliation. Business people must be given, or able to purchase the tools to protect themselves. Come on Bharrat give the business the tools to help get rid of this live long sore. We need to do business without fear and go to bed worrying about thiefman. Bharrat global warming and crime go hand in hand. Business people if the police cannot protect you then form alliance to fight crime by other means. Corrupted police should be brought to justice in the forms of exposure. We must stop crime in Guyana and you must do your part to eliminate crime.
