Lived for a year in an English city with the pop. of GT. Not one murder there during that time, while in GT … still counting. Odd that there’s no death penalty in the UK and its murder rate is 5 times lower than Guyana’s.

With the escalating crime all over Guyana,it is very hard to do. But citizens will have to now make a commitment to be on the lookout for criminals and assist the police 100%.In fact, citizens should now be an extension of the police, in effect the secret police,operating within the law, in reporting and thwarting crime.

Killing is so wrong. with a population of less than 1 million everyday someone loosing their life at the hand of another human being wether it is criminal killing criminal or police killing criminal or husband killing wife, criminal killing innocent resident and it just keep goin on.never b4 were known to be so murderous.it almost every day.and there seem nothing is inplace to reduce this situation. it has become the norm for us to accept and move on like so many other things. we r all caught up in making a dollar for ourselves because those to put things in place r not loosing sleep over this. just few cheap words of condemnation and they gone back to sleep. we r loosing it. wat a society to raise child in. wat make matter worst in this small nation 90 % of these cases will remain unsolved.

Every time there is a crime in Guyana Almost all of you guys here call for a change in government,DO YOU THINK THIS WILL CHANGE ANYTHING ? Since I was a little boy there has always been kick down door robbery there in Guyana, condone then by the ruling government,How many of you guys there remember rabbi washington?and what he did?A change in government will not help,we need a more balance law enforcement and army personel accountable for their behaveiour.The law and the army think that the common man in Guyana is accountable to them in stead of the other way around,they are the law onto them self.
