Congratulations to these students and I hope they go on to achieve much greater things.

A few years a graduate of this very school topped the faculty of technology at the university of Guyana and subsequently went on the study at Cambridge University in the UK. Her and these students are testimony that best of Guyana can emerge from ANYWHERE in Guyana, and that one does not have to go to QC or some other other over-glorified high school to excel.

Black, Indian, or Amerindian,I am filled with pride when I see that there are still a great many of our children who go to school to study and have these kinds of results. My sincere congratulations to all of you! May Guyana once again, some day set the standard of education in the Caribbean region.

Stabroeknews, you are going to be chastised for not publishing pictures of Afro-Guyanese achievers although you mention its the top 5 results of Region 5,a predominantly Indo-Guyanese area. Congratulations to those who did exceedingly well and encouragement to those did their best but had less than stellar results.
