The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport is inviting applications for Wushu martial arts training.

According to a press release the ministry is hosting the sessions in collaboration with the Guyana Wushu Association and the Youth Volunteers Association of China. A training session is set for November 2nd in Region Two at Onderneeming and Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast and on November 17 in Region Six at the Port Mourant Community Centre and at the ministry’s training centre at Vryman’s Erven, Berbice. Another started on September 3rd at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Application forms can be sourced from the ministry’s headquarters on Main Street, the Department of Culture, Youth and Sport in Region Two, Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast and the New Opportunity Corps and the Smythfield Drop-in Centre in Region Six, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
