An Eccles man died early yesterday morning at Little Diamond Public Road, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
Dead is Clarence Perry, 40, of 241 BB Eccles, EBD.
According to reports, he was driving his car with his wife Abiola Perry beside him in the passenger seat when tragedy struck.
The police said that around 03:30 hrs, the man lost control of the vehicle and it turned turtle and ended up in a nearby ditch. The couple was rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre by public-spirited citizens. Clarence was pronounced dead on arrival while his wife was treated for minor injuries and sent away.
When Stabroek News visited the man’s residence yesterday, his grief-stricken wife was being comforted by relatives. One of her sisters asked that the “family be left alone to mourn in peace.”
One woman who lives close to the accident scene related that she was awakened at 03:00 hrs by a loud crashing sound. The woman said when she peeped through her window, she realised that an accident had occurred. She added that what was left of the badly damaged car after the impact created by the accident was carried away from the scene by police, some three hours after.

This is truly sad and I pray that the lord would send his holy spirit to comfort his grieving family. May God rest his soul.

I am no fan of the PNC but at least under Burnham’s rule, poor people were able to purchase life insurance due a strong and steady dollar.
Under the PPP rule, it makes no sense buying life insurance because the currency is like monopoly money- worthless.
I hope this poor woman had something saved for a rainy day now that her husband is gone.
Under the PNC you may have woken up dead so what good would your insurance do. What Guyana did you live in? Please see you Doc soon. You heed help, lots of help.
WHATS UP WITH YOU RAMSAWAK?AND WHY YOURE ALWAYS BLOGGING ABOUT THE PPP AND THE PNC AND NOW BURNHAM EH ‘COM’ON NOW ENOUGH IS ENOUGH .
