They need 3 colours. Essequibo, Demerara and Berbice should each have their own colour!! While they at it they need to have license plates made in such a manner that ‘fake plates’ can be spotted easily.
Jagdeo micro-managing too much. This should’ve been Benn and Rohee talking bout it. Get some ‘real’ constructive plans before launching this project else it will be only another episode in the soap opera!!! But – What else is “new???”

well i like the idea but, a deadline in a ressesion is sick,why don’t bharrat give those who own taxis a loan so the can change colour in a timely fashion……bharrat need to focus on bigger n better issues facing guyana,or like fixing the airport so when i arrive there i could get off the plane in rainy weather without getting wet. oh n i forget, and to put lights on the linden highway and to lock up those who got malfunctioning oversize truck on the highways killing driver that used it day to day

This is the most foolish idea, the President come up with, Guyana is all about the hustle, and if u don’t then u can’t live,How come the don’t think about offering Jobs, and better living condition for people, the street need light and many more, now who going to pay for all them taxi to be repaint, when people still paying installment ????
Instead they all think about better things, all they do is pushing the country to the ground.

Good Move. However, the Government should set aside $25 million dollars to paint over all the Taxi’s.

This is obviously a good plan that will not only help to enhance the image of our city also to some extent deter criminal that use taxi from perpetrating their crimes.

The Government needs to continue to make coordinated step to complete reform our transport system, to allow for better oversight by the government and to a level playing field for anyone eager to enter the transport business.

Tando, I agree with u concerning their attitudes, not polite, some r very rude, smelly, needs a shower, not shaven never have change, so u can leave the rest of ur money with them.

A taxi driver needs to be presentable, after all, no one needs to be in a smelly taxi and driver smelling. talk half lef half
