Music lovers are in for a treat next Sunday when the Guyana Music Teachers Association holds its concert at the National Cultural Centre from 3 pm.

Students who passed the Royal Schools of Music Examinations with distinctions and high merits will be on show. There will also be performances by some of the winners in the recently held Guyana Music Festival.

On show will be the Bishops’ High School Choir, the West Ruimveldt Choral Group, North Ruimveldt Multilateral and the St John’s Boscoe steelbands and the National School of Dance among others.

Tickets for this June 7, musical feast cost $500 for adults and $200 for children and are available from the Music Festival Secretariat at 221 Charlotte Street; music teachers and at the national Cultural Centre on the day of the concert.
