Olympia does Glamorous in blue

Olympia Small-Sonaram returns to her comfort base with a steamy swimsuit line which she has designed for a pre-Glamorous show on June 26.

The event dubbed, ‘Out of the Blue’ Fashion Party will offer a taste of the second instalment of Sonia Noel’s Glamorous Show. Glamorous is the final of the Guyana Model Search Competition.

Noel said in a press release earlier this week that she the pre-show is “all Olympia”. She said that Olympia has been given the free range to give patrons a taste of Glamorous.

She said that the show is also part of the running reality series for Guyana Model Search 2009 and will feature the hopefuls vying for the tile. But the highlight of the night is Olympia’s line.

“I have worked with Olympia over the years and she has been simply fabulous,” Noel said, adding that Olympia has cultivated a large following owing to her daring, unique style.

Noel said too that the blue swimsuit line that it to be unveiled is only part of Olympia’s new collection, the second half of the collection will debut at the Glamorous show.

The pre-Glamorous show is billed for June 26 at Duke Lodge while Glamorous is on at Buddy’s Hotel on July 12.

Noel added that prizes would be handed out at the pre-show including a prize for the best dressed patron wearing blue. Tickets for the show cost $1,000.
