Guyana Fashion Weekend is importing a sizzling Trinidad contingent for its month-end extravaganza, delivering what it calls a blend of “local and Trini catwalk teasers”.

The Trinidad imports include some of the island’s more sought after professional models. included in the contingent is Guyanese Cenett Deslyn who now resides there. Others include Marcus Jospeh, Derren Timothy, Kerry Ann Morphy and Shanika Fernandes.

Kerry Ann was introduced in a GFW release as one of the stunners of the recently held Trinidad and Tobago Fashion Weekend. She is the face of several ad campaigns in Trinidad and was also a finalist in Ms. Trinidad and Tobago Universe. Kerry Ann is bringing her wealth of modelling experience to the local catwalk.

The Trinidadian designers adore Marcus Joseph according to the GFW release who is one of the lead models at the Fashion Week over there. Marcus was recently named by designer Kingsley Copper as a potential Pulse Model.

Derren Timothy is a fresh face on the scene, but a fast rising model. He was recently cast as the lead male in a television documentary on fashion entitled Vogue while Shanika Fernandes has been touted as the find of Fashion Week Trinidad and Tobago 2009.
