Celeste’s ‘Little Secret’ is out

It has been a slow climb on the music ladder for Celeste David since her runner-up position in the GT&T jingle competition two years ago, but things seem to be picking up now and she has just released her latest single in Barbados.

“Little Secret” basically talks about secretive relationships and some are of the opinion that it is a little lean on the lyrical side but the rhythm is certainly saucy enough to get you moving with the chorus not difficult to catch.

The Berbician, who has the body to go with the voice, recently told The Scene that she now records in Barbados with the awarding winning producer Peter Coppin of Monstapiece Entertainment Inc and the company’s manager Brian Corbin.

During her recent stay in the land of the flying fish Celeste had her hands filled with promotional interviews on various stations and programmes such as Hott 95.3FM, Mix 96.9 FM, Carib Vision and she also featured on the cover of Heat Newspaper. Word out of Barbados is that she worked with one of the world’s best background vocalists and voice trainers, Indra ‘Indrani’ Rudder for a week before she blazed her hot new on the ‘Golden Gate Riddim’ which was produced by Kurt Riley from Jamaica.

Other artistes such as Konshens, Tessanne Chin, Ward 21, Biggie Irie and Peter Ram can also be found on this riddim. “Little Secret” is one of two songs penned by the diva and produced by Monstapiece Entertainment Inc and it shows the versatility of this young songstress.

Celeste is expected to do collaborations with Jamaican and Bajan artists as well as having a music video produced for the new single.

She has certainly come a long way from her “Back it Up” and “Stealing Love” singles.
