According to a company press release, Dellavorn Tyson and her five children had lived in a cramped, dilapidated structure in the Cummings Lodge Housing Scheme. The house was built in 1993 and deteriorated rapidly over the years. Its deterioration worsened considerably due to the 2005 Great Flood. The family also lost most of its possessions during the flood.

The company said it has often responded to need and after learning of Tyson’s plight, Chairman Sattaur Gafoor immediately started making arrangements to build a new house for the family. During the holiday season, the new 20x30ft two-bedroom house was handed over to the family.
