Autopsy confirms Lamaha Gardens man died from bullet

This was reported by police in a press release last evening. A post-mortem examination conducted by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh gave the stated cause of death.

Shortly after a gunshot was heard Harris was discovered dead in his Lamaha Gardens home with an Uzi sub-machine gun near his body. A knife and a bullet-proof vest were also recovered at the scene.

Harris’ death, Crime Chief Seelall Persaud had said, appeared to be a suicide. The man was the owner of El Sol, an import/export business, located in Alberttown, Georgetown.
