Gladstone Oscar Critchlow

Critchlow was the sports editor of Stabroek News for a few years in the early 1990s. He said Critchlow would be well-remembered for his keen insight into cricket and other sports and his engaging personality.

Persaud said while Critchlow held pugnaciously to his views he was also a gentleman who dispensed fatherly advice to the many staff members he came into contact with on a daily basis.
