Man held with ganja at Bartica

A man is in police custody after he was found with ganja in a bag he was carrying during a routine check at the Bartica Stelling yesterday morning.

According to the information reaching Stabroek News, around 10 am a party of policemen carried out a search on passengers and subsequently found one who had 400 grammes of cannabis sativa in his bag.

The man was detained and investigations are continuing.
