Caribbean Airlines yesterday announced that its new reservation and booking system, launched earlier this month in an effort to increase functionality and cost savings which are needed to further improve its services, has resulted in some delays.

According to a release from the airline, the new system, launched on March 8, entails a period of learning for the users and this together with the technological transfer of information saw delays being experienced.

“Caribbean Airlines continues to work with all our stakeholders to ensure that these issues are resolved within the shortest possible timeframe and we are making a concerted effort to improve the booking process especially at our ticket offices,” the airline said.

The airline issued an apology to its customers for the inconvenience caused and asked that they refer to its website www.caribbean-airlines.com for updates or call +868-625-7200 for more details.
