Six persons have been arrested following the discovery of more than 4 kilos cocaine in sealed tins at Good Hope Essequibo.

In a press release last evening, police said that investigations “led to the interception of 4.75 kilograms of cocaine” concealed in three sealed tins. The discovery was made at about 4.10 pm on Saturday.

Four men, two of whom are Nigerians and two women are in police custody.  Investigations, police said, are continuing.
