A man was shot and injured early yesterday morning in front of his Third Street, Alberttown home following an argument over a parked car.

Horace Mosley, 56, who sustained a graze to the left side of his head was treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital. The shooter is still at large.

Police said in a press release yesterday that they are investigating a shooting incident that occurred around 0100 hours at Third Street, Alberttown during which Moseley was shot and injured.

Investigations revealed that Mosley had returned home and observed a motor vehicle blocking the entrance to his premises which prevented him from entering with his vehicle, The release added that “he exited his vehicle and was making efforts to locate the driver of the vehicle blocking his entrance when another motor vehicle drove up behind Moseley’s car and the driver began honking his horn for Moseley to remove his vehicle,”

Moseley reportedly then confronted the driver during which the man pulled out a firearm and discharged a round at Moseley which grazed the left side of his head.
