Mother pleads for return of girl, 4

– dad took her for ‘a walk’ in July
The mother of a 4-year-old girl is pleading with the girl’s father to return her, more than a month after the man took her “for a walk”.

Mackelly

Mala Davie of Fisher Dam, Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo said she has not seen her daughter, Mackelly, ever since the girl’s father, Gregory Daniels visited Zeelugt and said that he wanted to take his daughter for a walk some time in July. She said that Daniels promised to return the girl but up to yesterday, he had not.

The worried mother said that her daughter needs to go to school and she has reported the matter to the Leonora Police Station and gave a statement.

She said she last heard that they were somewhere in Parika and tried calling a phone number Daniels had provided to no avail. Davie said she had two children with Daniels, but had separated from him about two years ago. She pleaded that her daughter be returned to her.
