French Guiana chamber holds talks with local businesses

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in French Guiana met in Georgetown recently with local stakeholder entities to discuss furthering business relations.

Members of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI),  the Private Sector Commission (PSC) and the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA)  met with a nine-member delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in French Guiana on September 24 at the GCCI Boardroom, Waterloo Street, Georgetown, a press release said.

Representing the Guyana Private Sector were President of GCCI Komal Ramnauth, Chairman of PSC Ramesh Dookhoo, and President of GMSA Clinton Williams as well as several members of GCCI, PSC and GMSA.

And participants from the CCI in French Guiana were Jean Paul Le Pelletier, President of the CCI Guyane; Jan Du, elected member of the board of the CCI Guyane, representative of West French Guiana; Yves Bellemare,  Treasurer of the CCI Guyane;  Richard Gabriel, Second Secretary of the CCI Guyane, President of the Tourism Commission; Daniel Driss, Vice-President of the International Commission; Alain Chung, elected member of the board of the CCI Guyane; Keita Stephenson, Head of the International Support Section; and Anne Mathieu, International Development Advisor.
