The body of a man was yesterday picked up from the Charity Public Road and taken to the Charity Cottage Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
According to information reaching Stabroek News, the man was identified as Kuna of Cozier Canal, Pomeroon. Reports say the body, which was found around noon, bore no marks of violence and was transported to the hospital by residents.
The man’s body is at the hospital’s mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination and the police are said to be making efforts to contact his family.
