Freundel Stuart

(Barbados Nation) Freundel Stuart is Barbados’ new Prime Minister.

He was sworn at Government House earlier today after the passing of former leader David Thompson.

Thompson died at 2:10 a.m. at his Mapps, St Philip home.

Adriel Brathwaite, the new Attorney General, was also sworn in today.

In a brief statement to the Press just minutes ago, Stuart said the full Cabinet will be sworn in at 3 this afternoon.
