Six Republic Bank Guyana RightStart account holders were yesterday awarded for their achievements at this year’s Caribbean Secondary Education Certi-ficate (CSEC) examination.
Bibi Safia Khan, Krysta Amy Yan, Yonella Scarville, Sarah Khemraj, Surasattie Singh and Mikhil Steven Cox were presented with certificates and small cash prizes during a simple ceremony at the bank’s head office in New Market Street.
Manager of Marketing and Communications Michelle Johnson told the students that their outstanding results “bear testimony to the fact that you are undoubtedly off to a right start to future success”.
She also commended the parents “for your evident commitment to your child’s life goals and successes”.
Early financial education in the age of global economic challenges allow for the development of life skills for a sound financial future, Johnson told the awardees.
