Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited has appointed Vanessa Thompson Manager, with responsibility for Finance and Planning.
In a press release, the Bank said in a career of just over 13 years, Thompson has secured extensive knowledge of its core operations. Prior to this post, she was the Manager’s Assistant (Finance and Planning)—a post she has held since July 2008. She was appointed to her new post on Wednesday.
Thompson holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Credit in Business Management from the University of Guyana, a Diploma in Computerised Accounting and she is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration.
The Board of Directors and Management welcomed Thompson to the management team and extended best wishes for her continued success.
