Gay militancy is founded on a hoax

I refer to the letter ‘While science has recognized “intersex” the law does not recognize it’ (SN April 4). It represents a stunning hypocrisy that gay militancy, which disregarded 120 years of scientific psychiatric research on political whim, is now advocating that “science” and not only “human rights” has a part to play on the issue of transgenderism and “sexual orientation.” It is not surprising that the proponents of gay militancy in Guyana have retreated from the detail in ‘The Case Against Cross-dressing and Transgenderism in Guyana’ (http://www.scribd.com/doc/276982 38/The-Case-Against-Cross-Dressing-or-Transgender-ism-in-Guyana) to the concocted verbiage of gay militant doctrine. Once again, the offering by Mr Vidyaratha Kissoon helps to reveal the unfathomable duplicity, the cruel deception, and the massive hoax that gay militancy and its “science” are founded upon.

Firstly, therefore, we should again redirect the Guyanese public to the solid evidence they need to make responsible decisions, in the process advising that secular clinical (scientific) research agrees completely with the Biblical position on psycho-sexual deviancy. For a comprehensive treatment on the definitions that Mr Kissoon forgot to educate us about, please  refer  to  ‘Q&A  on  Gender  Identity  Confusion – Sexual  Behavior  Disorders’; http://www.pfox.org/Q&A-gender-identity-confusion.pdf

Secondly, as to the Sunday Editor’s unfortunate caption of the letter above, the “science” which Mr Kissoon claims acknowledges “intersex” also acknowledges, in the 120 years of psychiatry encompassed by and before Adler, Jung and Freud, that homosexuality, transgenderism, bisexuality, bestiality, lesbianism, fetishism, sadism are all psycho-sexual and behaviour-based disorders. How then is this part of the “science” dismissed, or been replaced, without clinical inquiry?

Thirdly, readers should get an introduction into the intellectual and political overthrow of classic scientific investigation into psychosexual and gender-identity disorders,  and the spawning of a doctrine based on nothing more than “intellectual gibberish” by reading the article ‘Sexual Politics And Scientific Logic: The Issue Of Homosexuality’ by Dr Charles W Socarides (http://www.pfox.org/Removal_of_ homosexuality.html). An excerpt follows:

“The devastating clinical fallout from this decision was to follow. Those who would wish to retain homosexuality as a valid diagnosis have been practically silenced by lectures, meetings, and publications, both originating within our association and from other sources. Political parties and religious leaders have been utilized to reinforce this silence. The press has been influenced as well as the media; television and movies promote homosexuality as an alternative life style as well as censor movies which might show homosexuality as a disorder. Homosexual sex education has entered our schools and colleges and pro-Gay activists, homosexual or otherwise, portray their way of life as “normal as apple pie” and intimidate others with different views…”

Fourthly, therefore, where did Mr Kissoon get his doctrine of “gender-reassignment”? No other place than the literature of gay militancy, it seems. Now Dr Paul McHugh, Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University, in 2005, makes the following statements as he considers the idea of “surgical sex”  (http://www.pfox.org/Transgenderism_is_gender_identity_disorder.html):

“When the practice of sex-change surgery first emerged back in the early 1970s, I would often remind its advocating psychiatrists that with other patients, alcoholics in particular, they would quote the Serenity Prayer, “God, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” Where did they get the idea that our sexual identity (‘gender’ was the term they preferred) as men or women was in the category of things that could be changed?

“…We have wasted scientific and technical resources and damaged our professional credibility by collaborating with madness rather than trying to study, cure, and ultimately prevent it.”

We can again infer, as before, that Mr Kissoon’s ideology seeks to perpetrate a humongous hoax.

Yours faithfully
Roger Williams
