Shattered: Missiles thrown by two youths at a man of unsound mind last evening missed the target and shattered part of the glass wall of the Republic Bank (Guyana) building on Robb Street. Eyewitnesses last evening said the youths then did “a Usain Bolt” and escaped before the Professional Guard Service security guard on duty exited the guard hut. Their intended target stood around for a while before he also left. Up to press time last night the huge hole left, as seen in this photograph, remained uncovered.
