(Trinidad Guardian) A female student from Matelot died after she was reportedly stabbed by another female student on Monday, according to information released by the Ministry of Education. The names of the two female students involved have not been released but they attend the Matelot Community College. The ministry said the two Form Five students were involved in an altercation after school was dismissed.
The ministry said one student was stabbed in the melee and died while being taken to hospital for medical attention. The other student was in police custody up to late Monday.
