Dear Editor,
There are quite a few workers here on the highway who are employed on chicken farms and in cow pastures. Many of these workers have been employed for years on these farms and of course are not covered by NIS simply because the employers are not concerned with the workers’ welfare. These poor workers more or less live in the surrounding area.
I personally do not know if the NIS officers know about these unrepresented workers. I would like them to check at Silver Hill, Moblissa and Kairuni at least.
