All uneven/raised pavements should be painted in a bright colour (yellow?) on the rise or with an advertisement of the business which the pavement serves. Pedestrians/shoppers have to look down anyway in order to manoeuvre themselves along these now dangerous walkways.
Rubbish bins should be placed and secured by business places outside their premises. They can also be a form of advertisement if painted with their logo or name.
A recycling law should be passed in Guyana and a recycling plant constructed.
Having rubbish bins should alleviate the clogging of drains where the stagnant water, due to the deposition of rubbish, tends to breed mosquitoes which are the bane of our beautiful country Guyana.
