Dear Editor,
Whenever I learn of an almost miraculous rescue I feel elated. In this world of so much tragedy these rescues from time to time make one feel good.
The BBC news of the 26th reported that two boys from New Zealand who had been adrift in an aluminium boat were rescued by a Fijian fishing boat after seven weeks in the ocean. The boys were in reasonably good health. I am happy for them.
