Fitness Express supports GAPF ahead of Caribbean Championships

Fitness Express, specialists in health and fitness products, has added some muscle to the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) in order to ensure that the body hosts a successful fourth Annual International Powerlifting Federation (IPF), North American Powerlifting Federation (NAPF) Caribbean Islands Bench Press & Powerlifting Cham-pionships will showcase at Princess Hotel, from Thursday to Saturday.

On Friday, Manager of Fitness Express Jamie Mc Donald made a cash donation to Public Relations Officer of GAPF Richard Mark Seymour at the company’s 47 Sheriff Street, Campbellville location.

Mc Donald said he was very happy to be associated with the Caribbean Championships and to be given the opportunity to assist Guyana in bringing off the best ever run championships.

“Ever since we opened our doors a few months ago, we have been assisting numerous sports bodies in their quest to succeed and this instance is no different. Fitness Express is very happy to support and partner the GAPF for the impending championship. We wish the executive and athletes the best and resounding success next weekend.”

Seymour expressed the GAPF’s gratitude to McDonald and Fitness Express for their support which he said will surely motivate the 15-man Guyana squad to succeed.

Meanwhile, Fitness Express will again be contributing to the development of local athletes when they make a donation to the Guyana Amateur Body-building & Fitness Federation ahead of their Novices competition set for the Government Technical Institute Lawns, New Amsterdam, Berbice on April 4.
