Neal and Massy Group cricketers turned the tables on Zeelandia Sports Club of Wakenaam to win by 83 runs in their feature 35-over Cricket match played recently at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground.

Neal and Massy was spearheaded to the win by an outstanding all round performance from Kelvin Singh.

Singh top scored for Neal and Massy with a dashing 68 which included one six and five fours in his team’s score of 220 off 34.4 overs.
Ashraj Ali supported well with 55.

Bowling for Zeelandia, Denis Adams bagged 4-39, M. Boodram 3-45 and Navishal Puran 3-60.

Singh returned with the ball to bag 5-32  and Vishal Persaud 2-15  as Zeelandia were skittled out for 137 off 27 overs.
Saga Jadukul top scored with 40 for the losers.

A third game is planned  for a date to be announced shortly following Zeelandia’s success in a high-scoring first match played in Essequibo recently.
