The runner up position went to Muntaz Haniff who recorded a net 70 from a gross 86 playing off a 16 handicap.
Boloram Deo was third with a net 71 from a gross 86 playing with a 15 handicap.
Mohanlall Dinanauth had the best gross of 75.
There were also two special prizes for the most honest golfers with Rita Heikens capturing the female prize while W. Yanagida won the male prize. Mike Mangal was Nearest to the Pin. Scotia Bank Marketing Manager Jennifer Cipriani-Nelson who presented the prizes thanked officials of the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) for the opportunity to collaborate in furtherance of the development of golf in Guyana and assured the Club that the Bank’s sponsorship will continue in the future.
Club Captain Jerome Khan thanked Scotia for their longstanding and ongoing support to the Club.
Several executives of the Bank also participated in the tournament.
