Chairman of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) Special Events Committee Hilbert Foster who organised the presentation, said BCB has decided that every team from the Ancient County must be involved in community related programmes that would benefit the Berbice region. This is also part of the Board’s effort to get the cricketers to understand the importance of community service and of being proper role models to their peers.

In her address Ourne said the Network was grateful for the assistance. She also said she was pleased at the continuing development of cricket in the county and was confident that the relationship between the two organizations will continue to grow.

Keith Foster, president of the BCB, said while the BCB’s main focus is the development of cricket it has also mandated itself to be an organisation that would make positive differences at all levels in the county and pledged his administration’s  support to the Network. The Network plans to host the match at the Canje Welfare Cricket Ground.
