GCA receives two pairs of wicketkeepers’ gloves from Reds Perreira Foundation

The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) received two pairs of wicketkeepers’ gloves from veteran commentator and sports administrator, Joseph ‘Reds’ Perreira yesterday.

The presentation ceremony was done at Cara Lodge and it was the fulfillment of a promise Perreira had made to the GCA sometime in the past. The association was also urged by Pereira to make full use of the equipment which president of the GCA Roger Harper assured will be done.

Pereira was told that that the gloves will be put to maximum use while thanking the author of ‘Red Pereira: Living My Dreams’ for the timely contribution.

Pereira also presented netball and some bibs to the Guyana Netball Association (GNA).
