Singh leads ‘D’ Division to win

Khain Singh with the maximum 16 games spearheaded `D’ Division to victory when the Guyana Police Force male and female Inter-Division dominoes competition continued recently.

Singh received support from Sheldon Williams, Kester Albert and Deryck Foo who scored 15, 14 and 13 games respectively as D Division amassed 81 games to defeat Special Constabulary Headquarters with 78 games and President’s Guard who ended in the cellar with 67 games.

William Kendall and Hadley Mc Farlane with 15 games each were the tops corers for Special Constabulary Headquarters while Morris Benjamin chipped in with 14 games.

Anthony Moti with 16 games was the top marker for the President’s Guard team.

In the female category, Headquarters, with 80 games, ran out winners ahead of `E’ and `F’ Division Combined with 64 games and `A’ Division which ended in the cellar with 60 games. Avenee Jaundoo scored the maximum 18 games to lead Headquarters while Amanda Hermonstine and Judy Sandiford contributed 16 games each.

The top markers for `E’ and `F’ Division were Shanen Cort  with 15 games and Loma Callender and Margurite Pratt with 14 and 13 games respectively.

For `A’ Division Roxanne Sandy and Alana Campbelle contributed 15 games each.
