The Link to run until Monday

After its Mash night break, Link Show 26 continued on Wednesday and will now run until Monday night (March 1) at the National Cultural Centre.

According to a press release, the annual satirical show, is a force to be reckoned with boasting stalwarts like Howard Lorimer, who has been in every Link Show; Nasim Hussain in 23 and Henry Rodney over 20. Derek Gomes, an old stager in these shows in the 80s and 90s has returned to the scene. Sherry Ann Dyal, Sheldon Braithwaite, Michael Ignatius and Leslyn Lashley joined the team in the late 90s.

Newcomer Raymond Persaud was part of the Link Show 25 tour to Berbice while Francis Bailey, an accomplished musician was brought onboard after his performance of “The Pothole” in Paul Keens Douglas ‘Talk Tent 4’ in October 2009 , produced by GEMS Theatre Productions.

Other newcomers, Paul Budnah and Sean are members of GEMS Youth Theatre Workshop

All shows begin sharply at 8 pm and patrons are kindly asked to be there well before the curtain hour.

Tickets are on sale at National Cultural Centre, Nigels Supermarket and Giftland Officemax at $1,500, $1,000 and $700.
