Uncensored for national Cultural Centre tonight

Producer of the popular, ‘Nothing to laugh about’ series, Maria Benschop, has teamed up with a hilarious gang for an adults-only production this weekend.

The show dubbed, ‘Uncensored’ is set for the National Cultural Centre tonight and according to a press release from the group, patrons are in for a treat.

Uncensored will take the form of “a spectacular stand-up comedy affair”, the group said, noting that the show features a combination of Guyana’s hottest and most celebrated stand-up comedians along with some up-and-coming stars; Henry Rodney, Lyndon ‘Jumbie’ Jones, Miranda Austin, Chubby, Christopher Gopaul, Odessa Primus, Rochelle Christie, Naudia Emanuel and entertainment icon, Habeeb Khan.

The production is being marketed as an exciting, racy campaign for adults only and will carry the theme, ‘Too Hot to Handle’, according to the group. No indecent language or exposure is part of the production, but the jokes and skits are would be for a mature audience.

Tickets for the show range from $600 and $1,000 to $1,500 and are available at various locations.
