Spragga Benz among men wanted by Jamaica police

(Jamaica Gleaner) Investigators from the Kingston Central Police Division have listed Kwame Cunningham also known as ‘Jet Li’ and Courtney Bethune also known as ‘Zugu’ as wanted for several shootings and extortion in the Division.

Twenty seven-year-old Cunningham is of dark complexion, slim build, approximately five feet six inches tall and of dark complexion. He has a scar on his neck and plucked eyebrows. Cunningham is known to frequent the Southside area and Stephen Street in Central Kingston.

Bethune is 24 years old, has a dark complexion, slim build, approximately five feet tall. He has the symbol of a cross tattooed on his right arm and carries a scar on the left side of his face. He is known to frequent the Southside area and Fleet Street.

Both Cunningham and Bethune have been ordered to report to the Kingston Central Police Station by 2 p.m. today. Members of the public are advised that these men are armed and dangerous and should be approached with extreme caution.

Persons with information on the whereabouts of any of the men are asked to share this information with the police by calling Operation Kingfish at 811, Crime Stop at 311 and Police Control Centre at 119.

Meanwhile, detectives from the Kingston Eastern Police Division continue to search for popular dancehall entertainer Carlton Grant, popularly known as ‘Spragga Benz’. The investigators want to interview Grant in connection with a triple murder on Friday night in the McIntyre Villa.

The police have given Grant until 2 p.m. today to report to the the Elleston Road Police Station. Persons with information on the whereabouts of Grant are also being asked to contact Operation Kingfish at 811, Crime Stop at 311 or Police Control Centre at 119.
