St Kitts PM escapes injury in four-car crash

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Denzil L. Douglas was not injured when his vehicle was involved in a four car accident while on his way to work yesterday morning, a release from his office said last night.

“Prime Minister Douglas arrived to work. I had the opportunity of seeing him and speaking with him this morning. He is not injured. He is in good spirits and is carrying out his normal duties which include meetings with General Douglas Fraser, Commander of the United States Southern Command and the Secretary General of the St. Lucia-based OECS Secretariat, Her Excellency Dr. Len Ishmael,” said Erasmus Williams, Press Secretary to the Prime Minister.

Williams said that another vehicle involved in the accident was that of former Minister of Health and Social and Community Development, Rupert Herbert. He was not injured.
