Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited’s Linden Branch on Thursday honoured Terron Alleyne, the top student at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA).
At a special presentation ceremony at the bank’s republic Avenue, McKenzie, Linden offices, a monetary gift and plaques were presented to Alleyne.
A statement from Republic Bank said this was done in the presence of the Literacy Coordinator, Department of Education – Region 10, Ministry of Education; Deputy Head Teacher and Class Teacher of the Regma Primary School; and staff members of the bank.
As part of the bank’s tradition, the top achievers for the annual national examinations are rewarded through the Bank’s ‘Power to Make a Difference’ community outreach initiative.
