Courts furnishes police force’s hospitality home

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has received $1.4M worth of furnishings for its Hospitality Home.

The furniture was donated by Courts Guyana Inc. at a presentation ceremony, held at Courts’ Main Street branch yesterday morning.

The Hospitality Home, located at Eve Leary, was recently constructed by the Guyana Police Force with the intention of providing comfortable accommodation for oversees delegates when they are visiting.

Courts provided the Hospitality Home with six living room sets, four dining room sets, four beds including mattresses and a kitchen set, including a refrigerator.

Speaking at the presentation, Courts Public Relations Officer Zeya Nasir-Ramnauth commended the GPF for its good service. She noted that Courts has been a sponsor of the Police Force Athletics Championship for the past three years and the donation is an extension of the partnership between the Courts and the GPF.

Present at the ceremony were Assistant Commissioner, Leroy Brummell, ‘A’ Division Commander George Vyphuis and other senior GPF officers as well as Courts Country Manager Clyde de Haas, Director of Marketing Molly Hassan and Director of Finance Steve Nauth.
